Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find my Director Dashboard?
Check your email for a link to your camp's Google Drive folder sent in the spring. Your Director Dashboard should be in that folder. If you can't find either of these, reach out to the Camp Assistant (camp.assistant@llchurch.org) or the Facilities Manager (adeline.moll@llchurch.org).
What are the roles of the core staff at each of the camp facilities?
Core staff support the directors, teachers, and counselors serving at camp, and are not assigned as a counselor to a specific group of students. Information on the roles of the core staff for each camp facility can be found here.
What resources are available at camp?
Camp resource availability is always changing, so it's best to check with the office admin at your camp center with questions regarding these items.
Stony Lake Camp: stony@llchurch.org Hasscib Lake Camp: hasscib@llchurch.org Kamp Kipa: kipa@llchurch.org
Can I allow campers to join my camp if they aren't on the roster?
No. For food, lodging, and staffing purposes, only campers who have signed up and are on the official roster can attend the camp.
(Note that the official roster used for food planning includes all participants listed on both the staff list and student roster from the Director Dashboard).
Who arranges chaperones for the bus to camp?
Directors for each camp are responsible for arranging bus chaperones to and from camp. Information on bus schedules and the chaperone sign up link can be found on the LLC Website.
To allow camp counselors to attend the staff meeting, it is preferable that they do not also serve as bus chaperones.
Can counselors ride the bus to camp?
Yes, counselors are able to ride the bus if it is needed. However, it is best if they can find a different ride up to camp so they are able to attend the staff meeting, especially if they haven't been a counselor before.
Who sends wage + expense and evaluation forms to staff and evaluation forms to participants?
LLC office staff will send out these forms electronically at the end of camp.
