Campwork Theme
Campwork Theme
A scriptural theme is chosen each year for the camp season. This year's campwork theme can be found at the top of the Home page.
Some suggestions to incorporate this theme into your camp include:
Discuss with camp staff (assistant director, ministers)
Use as the camp theme or the topic for a presentation
Could be used as the text for a devotion

To make a copy of the agenda template for your camp’s use, click on the arrow at the top right of the document. Then, click on the download button at the top of the screen.
Please review your tentative agenda with the LLC Facilities & Events Manager and your Kitchen Heads before finalizing.
Once complete, upload a copy of your agenda to Google Drive, at least 1 month prior to camp.
Chaperones
Chaperones
Directors are responsible for finding three couples to serve as chaperones at camp. We recommend selecting chaperones who are age 30 or older. Couples with children who are of age to attend Peace Gardens can be especially well suited for this role.
Chaperone responsibilities include:
assisting directors with organizing camp activities
being available to visit with campers and contribute to discussions
remind campers of appropriate behavior as needed
enforce quiet time and direct campers to dorms at the end of the night

Here is a map of the International Music Camp facility.
The LLC Peace Gardens camp typically rents:
Burdick Center for the Performing Arts (Auditorium)
Dining Hall (Kitchen & Dining Area)
Wright & Boundy Halls (Boys' Dorms)
Feldbrill & Mayer Halls (Girls' Dorms)
Mayer and/or Bert Halls (Dorms for Directors, Kitchen Heads, Ministers, Chaperones)
Check with the LLC Facilities Manager to confirm which buildings are included in the rental agreement for the current year.

Now what?
Now what?
When your camp has concluded, watch for an email from the LLC with links to your Wage & Expense Form and an Evaluation Form. Please fill these out as soon as possible after camp is over. The wage & expense form will allow you to request payment for your time at camp, and the evaluation form helps us to improve. Bring any thoughts and feedback with you when you fill out this form. Thank you for serving at camp!
